Her story

It started with a piece of clay.

Marcelina began creating ceramic objects without following a formal course. Her passion started after coming into contact with clay in an atelier. From that moment, she began exploring how a simple material could become a form, an object, a feeling and a piece of art.

For Marcelina, ceramics are a fascinating form of creative expression. Clay can become countless shapes, and working with it brings physical pleasure, focus and deep satisfaction.

Philosophy

Every object carries the trace of the hands that shaped it.

Working by hand

No wheel. No mass production. Only slow ceramic work.

Marcelina does not use a pottery wheel. Her objects are created through modelling, hand-building and press moulding. This gives every piece its own rhythm, small irregularities and personal character.

The final surface is built with oxides and glaze. Differences in thickness, fire and finish create colours, marks and effects that cannot be repeated exactly.

01

Clay

Clay comes from the earth. It is soft, direct and full of possibility before it becomes a lasting object.

02

Fire

Fire transforms clay into ceramic: a refined stone-like material with strength, texture and permanence.

03

Glaze

Oxides and glaze create the colours, marks and character that make every piece one of a kind.

One of a kind

Not perfect copies. Personal objects.

The beauty of Marcelina’s ceramics lies in the details: the glaze that moves differently, the small marks of the hand, the form that is never completely identical to another.

These are objects made to be used, seen and enjoyed — pieces that bring warmth, individuality and quiet character into everyday life.
